To love is to play the numbers

I want to tell a story of a child. One day, a child came to her father with an upset face. She complained to her father why she doesn't received any mail but her sister do gets a lot of them. so his father ask "do you write any letter?" that child said "no". Her father suggested to her to write a lot of it and send because when she don't write, she don't get any. So she should try. She did like her father suggested to her. Finally, she gets letters. A LOT. Even 5 years later, she still get reply letters form 5 years before.

I got inspired by reading this story in a book called "How To Become The Person You Always Wanted To Be" by Steve Chandler. Yes! you are right! I READ BOOKS! amazing kan? Am I about to die to have such odd habits? no peeps. I'm just babysitting. #Eh! ape kene mengena kan? Well, it's easier to read while babysitting than to turn your laptop on & get annoyed by "Maksu, maksu! Ammar nak main game, nak main game!" *budak kecik 4 tahun. (=,=)

By the way, the letter story makes me think about life. SUCCESS in life. There's 2 things that came to my mind: 

1) Success is for those who makes EFFORT

2) Today's effort for success years ahead

EFFORT

I remember seeing a lot of word effort in physics. *don't as me about the formula! (T__T)* Biology is way more fun than to calculate things you do in life. Ok. Like in the story, the little girl makes effort to write letters to receive the same in return. Maybe she wrote, 100 letters per week? and received 70 of replied letters, maybe? Ha! For Herbalifers might hear a lot of word "numbers". Know i finally get it whats meant by "play with the numbers" (Lepas 9 bulan dalam herbalife baru ku faham akhirnya. 9 bulan orang dah beranak dah, aku baru dapat pickup) *cangkung sambil kuis2 lantai* 

PATIENT

The thing I was curious in the story was, why he mention 5 years? Amalina Peter who was genH president team Malaysia in Herbalife also mention about doing Herbalife today and know what you'll become after 5 years. #hmm So, true success don't usually come instantly.  For a person to be a doctor, it took at least like 5 years? Only then he can be a doctor. 5years? insteresting. 

p/s: Another 5 years thing: To be a teacher from teacher's training institute right from spm level took 5 years and a half. ;)
